Do you know about Red Velvet:
If you want a peek behind the curtain, red velvet is essentially red-colored chocolate. Old-school red velvet is red due to non-Dutched, anthocyanin-rich cocoa. There’s nothing wrong with using red coloring with your chocolate, though, which is what I do.
Well what are you waiting for Happiness is only one cupcake away.....!
So let's start the recipe π.
What you need to make these beauties:
- 1 1/4 cups cake flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 tsp red food colouring
- 1/2 tsp White veniger
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cream cheese Frosting:
- 5 cups of powdered sugar
- 2 cups Cream Cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter
How to make these Cupy Cakes....!
- The most important step in this recipe is that preheat the oven to 350 F(180degree) or you can make this on stove method In which you use a empty pot and layered the pot with salt and put a iron rack on it and preheat it for. 20 minutes and than put the cupcakes in that pot It depends on your stove in how much time it will make thr cupcakes You can use the toothpick to check it weather the cupcakes are cooled or not.
- Well put the Cups mufins tins with butter paper liner.
- Take a fancy bowl because we are making fancy cupcakes π€ just kidding you can take any large bowl and in that bowl mix the cake flour ,baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar and cocoa powder and mix it nicely.
- Now In the same bowl in which you have the dry ingredients add the butter ,food colouring, egg and now blend it completely If you have hand machine blender use that or if you have simply blender use that one Noooo problem.....!π
- Take a cute and small bowl and add the butter milk, vanilla extract and veniger together and slowly whisk into the flour mixture until well combined (But don't over mix it just fold the batter).
- Be careful Use the oven gloves and bake it 20-25 minutes or use a toothpick to check it out these babies are cooked or not .
- Okay....Okay ..They are looking so beautiful You can eat it now but wait what about the Cream Cheese Frosting.....oh yes.
- Take the cream cheese frosting INGREDIENTS and mix these all nicely and Now let your cupcakes completely cool down and than apply the frosting on it.....Make sure your frosting is lil chilled because it will melt down or create a mess....so be careful about this and enjoy these beauties π.
Some Important tips For My Friends:
- Make sure not to overfill your cupcake liners.otherwise they spill over and lose their shape.
- All the ingredients should be at room temperature when you are making any kind of cake.
- When making the frosting, make sure that your butter and cream cheese are softened but still a bit cool to the touch. This will keep the frosting from getting runny.
- Take care to wait until the cupcakes are completely cool before frosting or you will have a melty mess on your hands!
- Most cupcakes can be stored at room temperature but these need to be refrigerated because of the cream cheese frosting.
- Since the refrigerator can dry cakes out, make sure that your storage container is airtight to keep them moist!

i,ll try it but i think beet root juice is better then food coloring
ReplyDeleteYes my friend π You can use it...!Beet juice imparts little or no flavor to foods, so it can be a better choice than other natural red food colorings with strong flavor profiles, like cranberries and raspberries. Home cooks should note that the red color created with beet juice is a bit more purplish in tone than commercial red dye.
